We welcome guest speaker, James Francis, a Penobscot Tribal Historian, who will speak on “A Penobscot’s Sense of Place- the deep connections between land, language, and identity” from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Join us for an evening of delicious bites and lots of learning.
This is an all-ages event, with activities and food for kids and adults alike!

We will explore the relationships between meadows, pollinators, the food we eat, and the role of the Kennebec River in our area's history. Also, how meadow regeneration supports rivers, pollinators, and a shared future.

Mingle and Learn: 4:00 - 5:30 PM
-Pollinator Grazing Table (lite bites featuring foods that will vanish without pollinators)

Habitat Restoration

Assist in planting and caring for native species to regenerate the riverfront meadow. Your efforts will help create a vibrant habitat for pollinators and wildlife, promoting biodiversity and ecological health.

Community Outreach

Engage with local residents and visitors to share the vision and mission of Kennebec Riverview. You'll play a crucial role in raising awareness, organizing educational events, and inspiring others to support our conservation efforts.

Meadow Maintenance

Help maintain and enhance the walking paths and public spaces within the sanctuary. Your work will ensure safe, accessible, and enjoyable experiences for all visitors, fostering a deeper connection with nature.
